For over five years, Portobello West has sought out and presented some of the best in emerging and established local talent. Featuring over 50 local designers at a time, each of our four seasonal Markets brings you a curated selection of handmade accessories, fashion, jewelry, and art. Our hope is to foster a sense of community among Vancouver’s artists and those seeking something a little special.
The Market is held indoors at the Creekside Community Recreation Centre, in Olympic Village. The north side of the facility provides views of False Creek and the North Shore mountains and the Village’s pedestrian plaza is accessible from the West side. The Seawall skirts the north side of the building and provides easy access for cyclists and pedestrians.

Finally, a craft fair at the coop!
In collaboration with community volunteers, Coop la Maison verte is hosting a Craft Fair celebrating crafters and artisans in Montreal on August 21, 2011 from 11am to 5pm. Showcasing new and recycled-material artisans from NDG and around the city, this fair will certainly be THE place to accessorize and inspire ahead of fall!
In true coop fashion, we've also thought of a bunch of workshops and opportunities to exchange ideas (and, who knows, maybe even personal treasures). We'll be updating this page as they are confirmed, so come by often!
The Fair will be moved to the NDG Community Center at 3757 Prud'homme, in case of rain.
